JHA Update Hurricane Milton

All employees are encouraged to be prepared for the impending effects of Hurricane Milton expected to make landfall sometime on Wednesday with the most impact seen in Jacksonville overnight into Thursday.

The JHA, with the exception of essential employees, will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

In order to provide the best service to our residents and ensure the integrity of our properties, all essential employees (including property managers, assistant property managers, and maintenance foremen) are to report to their assigned locations on Wednesday and Friday at 8:00 a.m.

On Friday, other maintenance staff may be called in if needed.

Essential employees should have with them throughout the hurricane event the following JHA-issued items to allow 24/7 communication in the event of an emergency:

• JHA issued Toughbook/laptop with charging cord
• JHA issued cell phone with charging cord
• JHA Hurricane Policy with key contact information
