Administrative Plan Amendments

PUBLIC NOTICE

 The Jacksonville Housing Authority is amending its Administrative Plan in compliance with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements. 

The Administrative Plan amendments are available to the public for review at the Administration office located at 1300 Broad Street North, Jacksonville, FL  32202. The hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm. 

Public comments are welcomed during the comment period from October 13, 2021 through November 30, 2021. Any comments concerning the proposed changes to the Administrative Plan must be made in writing and either emailed to chunt@jaxha.org or submitted to the main office at 1300 Broad Street North, Jacksonville, FL  32202, by 2:00 p.m. on November 30, 2021. All public comments are included in the submission of the Significant Amendment to the Administrative Plan.

In  addition, a  public  hearing  will  be  held on at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, in the Administrative Office located at 1300 Broad St. N, Jacksonville FL 32202.

"If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Jacksonville Housing Authority or any committee thereof with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of these proceedings, and that, for such  purposes, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.:"  Florida Statutes 286.0105.
